What Nomme is
Nomme helps a household decide what to eat. You install it, an anonymous account is made for you, and you and the people you invite swipe on dishes until you agree on one, then plan the week and share a shopping list.
Your account and your household
The account starts anonymous and is tied to the app on your device. You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email address to keep it when you change phones. If you stay anonymous and uninstall the app without having invited anyone else, the household is effectively gone.
An invite code lets anybody holding it join your household and see what the household sees. Share it with people you would give a key to.
What you may not do
- Try to reach another household's data, or work around the checks that keep it separate.
- Use Nomme to send another person notifications they have not asked for.
- Copy the recipe catalogue wholesale for another product. The recipes come from public sources with their own terms; the collection, translation and corrections are Nomme's work.
Recipes, and cooking safely
Recipes come from public health bodies and are reproduced with their sources named. Amounts are converted from the original units, and the translations into Swedish, German, Spanish and French are machine-made and checked automatically, not by a professional translator.
Allergies. Nomme lists the allergens it can work out from a recipe's ingredients, and excludes what you ask it to. That is a helpful filter and not a guarantee. Always read the ingredients yourself. If an allergy is serious, treat the app as a suggestion and the packet as the truth.
Nomme offers no nutritional or medical advice.
Nomme+ subscription
Using Nomme after setup requires Nomme+, an auto-renewing subscription. One subscription covers everyone in the household.
- Nomme+ is sold monthly or yearly through the App Store or Google Play. The price and the length of any free trial are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Nomme account does not cancel it.
- Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
If you bought through the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Availability
Nomme is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, may lose features, and may stop. If it is going to stop, you will be told in the app with enough notice to save anything you want to keep.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Nomme is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under Swedish or EU law.
Law
Swedish law applies. If you are a consumer, you may bring a dispute in the courts of your own country of residence.
